God offers mercy through Jesus Christ before the Day of Judgement. We are guilty sinners. But the penalty has been paid. That means that God offers you a pardon and He can legally dismiss the charges against you if you surrender your life to Him and trust Jesus Christ alone to save you.
It is a morally right way that God provided because He is just and Holy. You can leave the courtroom free on the Day of Judgment because He paid your penalty. The Bible says “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
Those who refuse God’s pardon will have to pay the penalty themselves in Hell; in the lake of fire.
